Moshi hosts an MCP server at https://mcp.moshi.ai/mcp. Your AI client connects to it and gains tools that read and change Moshi data. The server needs no API key and no configuration file. It publishes OAuth discovery metadata, so a client that supports remote MCP registers itself and opens a browser for you to sign in.

Before you start

You need a Moshi account with access to an organization. You need an AI client that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP.

Choose your client

Claude Code

Install the Moshi plugin, or add the server on its own.

Claude Desktop and Claude.ai

Install the Moshi plugin from a repository. Paid plans only.

ChatGPT

Create an app in developer mode. Business, Enterprise, and Education.

Other MCP clients

Cursor, VS Code, and anything else that speaks remote MCP.

What happens when you connect

Every client follows the same three steps, whatever its interface looks like.
1

The client registers itself

Your client reads the server’s OAuth metadata and registers automatically. You never create a client ID or paste a secret.
2

You sign in to Moshi

A browser window opens. Review the client name and the access it requests before you approve.
3

You select an organization

Choose the organization that this client can use. Moshi records the selection for that user and client, and checks your membership on every later request.
See Organization access for the binding rules.

Verify the connection

Ask your client for something only Moshi can answer:
The connection works when the client calls get_products and returns your product list.

Keep write tools under user control

Read the tool request before you approve it. Tools such as create_ad, upload_creative, and knowledge update tools change Moshi data. create_ad does not publish to Meta by default. When publishToMeta is true, it creates real Meta objects in a paused state. Require explicit user confirmation before that call. See Tools for the customer tool list.

Disconnect

Remove the connector in your client. Nothing is stored on your machine except the client’s own token. Removing your organization membership stops access immediately, without any change in the client.
