# Test a flow

> Check your sales agent's answers, recommendations, and lead qualification before launch.

Test whether your sales agent gives correct answers and helps customers complete the intended next step.
Use a prepared flow in the Simulator before launch.
You can also test a published flow or review conversations before approval.

## Test in the Simulator

### Before you start

Select a prepared or published flow from the Simulator flow list.
If no prepared flow is available, contact [Moshi support](mailto:support@support.moshi.ai).

**1. Open the Simulator**

Open Simulator from Moshi.
You can also select Open in Simulator on a flow results page.

**2. Select the flow**

Select the flow that you want to test.
Check its name before you send a message.

**3. Start the conversation**

Send a short message that matches the expected customer entry point.

**4. Complete the path**

Answer each question and select any shown options.
Continue through qualification, product selection, or handoff.

**5. Check the response**

Check answers against your products or services and policies.
For Sales, check product recommendations and the checkout path.
For Collect leads, check qualification questions and the next step for the lead.
Check that links and options work.

> [!TIP]
>
> Your agent is ready for launch when its answers are correct and the tested customer path works.

## Test again after changes

Correct missing or incorrect brand knowledge, then start a new Simulator conversation.
Draft flow changes do not replace the configuration used by an existing Simulator flow.
After you publish a new version, test its greeting, questions, and customer path again.

If the flow or replies are missing, use [Troubleshooting](https://docs.moshi.ai/reference/troubleshooting.md).

## Review conversations

Select Review in the flow's approval banner.
Each card shows a test lead's conversation.
Skeleton placeholders appear while chats load.
Typing indicators appear as each new chat fills with responses.

**1. Review each chat**

Read the shopper messages and responses.
A question below a response identifies missing knowledge.

**2. Select a response**

Select a response after the conversations are ready.
Hover over a response or focus it with the keyboard to see its selection outline.
A floating editor opens beside the response.
Drag its header to move it, or focus the header and use the arrow keys.
The selected response stays highlighted beside the editor.

**3. Add a fix**

Enter the correct answer or describe the change in the editor.
Include a source link when needed.
Select Confirm to save the fix for that response.
Select the response again to change or remove its saved fix.

**4. Apply your fixes**

Select Apply fixes below the chats.
Moshi updates your knowledge base and runs the affected chats again.
Review the results before approval.
Use Undo these fixes to reverse a completed knowledge update when the control appears.

**5. Approve the flow**

Select Approve and go live when the responses are ready.
Select Back to leave the flow awaiting approval.

Saving a fix keeps it in the current review.
Apply fixes sends the saved fixes to Moshi.
Approval remains unavailable while conversations load or fixes are applied.
